I don't get to Boston often but when I do I like to stay at the Taj. The location is great and the service and accommodations are wonderful. When I booked my room I had the option of requesting an upgrade to a suite for a nominal fee. If a suite is available you pay your fee and your room is upgraded. The check in staff (I think his name is Edgar) took very good care of me. He put me in a corner unit on the 15th with a perfect view. The leaves were a little past prime but the view made my trip. There is a wood burning fireplace in the suite I didn't have the chance to enjoy but I hope to return and take advantage of it.The bathrooms are renovated and water pressure is good. Towels are large and soft and turn down service is always nice. The only thing that would make this better would be a coffee maker in the room.

I stayed at the Taj for a second time this past weekend and my stay was just as good as my stay last year. Most notable was that each staff person i encountered was friendly and helpful, same as last year. I also love the classic, luxury feel of the rooms and the decor. And of course, the location - right across the street from the Public Garden - can't be beat. I look forward to returning to the Taj when i visit Boston again next summer.

Stayed one night at the Taj. Room was spacious and very comfortable. The location of the hotel is right in the middle of everything, and it's super easy to get to just about anywhere in downtown. All the staff was courteous, friendly, and helpful. The price was competitive and much cheaper than surrounding options, but that did not compromise the quality of our stay! Would definitely recommend staying here.

Came here for a conference and my company booked the room for me. It was great, king room comfortable beyond comfortable. The bed pillows and feather bed was great. Coming from Vegas it was nice to open the window for fresh air. The concierge was knowledgeable about different things and even gave us his card "just in case". The lobby had flowers that were so magnificent. Very centrally located right across from the public garden which was great to walk through and see the different birds. Even though I grew up in Peabody we hardly came into Boston, but if I come into town from Vegas the Taj is where I would stay.
